Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of applications using Oracle technologies. As an Oracle Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business requirements. You will be responsible for database design, writing efficient SQL queries, troubleshooting application issues, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about Oracle technologies, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle technologies such as PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle APEX, or Oracle JDeveloper.
Collaborate with database administrators to design and implement efficient database structures, tables, and schemas.
Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including database connectivity, performance bottlenecks, and application errors.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of Oracle applications.
Create technical documentation, including application design specifications, user guides, and release notes.
Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and software testers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Identify and implement performance enhancements, such as indexing, partitioning, and caching, to optimize application and database performance.
Assist in database upgrades, apply patches and fixes, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Ensure that applications and databases adhere to security standards, data protection regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Oracle technologies, including PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle APEX, or Oracle JDeveloper.
Experience in Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
Familiarity with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Oracle ADF or Oracle JET.
Understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Visa in Kuwait.
